Matt Kazimir was the EIWA champion at 141 pounds last season with a win over eventual All-American C.J. Composto in the finals. Composto is expected to redshirt this year for Penn, so Kazimir will take the #1 ranking to start the season. Malyke Hines will be making the move up from 133 pounds this year for Lehigh. Hines has picked up some solid wins in his career, including victories over Devan Turner and Mickey Phillippi. Thomas Deck had a head-to-head win over Darren Miller last season to claim the #3 ranking at this weight class. After going 23-8 while competing for the Spartan Combat RTC last season, Vince Cornella had a strong showing in freestyle throughout the summer, making the U20 World Team at 65 kg and finishing fifth at the U20 World Championships.
