After dealing with shoulder injuries much of the 2021 season, Dustin Plott stayed healthy last year on his way to winning a Big 12 title and finishing sixth at the NCAA Championships. Demetrius Romero is back from injury and is entering the eighth year of his career. Romero is looking to improve on his sixth-place, All-American finish from the 2021 season. Peyton Mocco was the Big 12 runner-up at 174 pounds last season and just fell short of All-American status, finishing in the round of 12.
