Trent Hidlay has seemed to have taken the advantage in his rivalry with Hunter Bolen. After beginning his career 0-3 vs. Bolen, Hidlay has won the last two meetings. Meanwhile, Bolen has taken two losses to Gavin Kane and he finished 1-2 at the NCAA tournament last season. Hidlay won the ACC title in dominant fashion over Kane with an 11-0 major decision last season and finished fifth at the national tournament. Kane defeated Bolen in both the dual against Virginia Tech and in the ACC semifinals last season.
