*If a wrestler hasn't competed in a senior-level freestyle event since the 2021 World Team Trials or before and isn't registered for the 2022 World Team Trials Challenge Tournament or sitting to Final X, they were removed from the rankings due to inactivity. 

Nick Suriano, Sean Russell, Zach Sanders, and Jack Mueller come out due to inactivity. Darian Cruz, who was #8, now represents Puerto Rico.

Matt Ramos won the US Open, defeating Jakob Camacho and Anthony Molton. Also at the Open, Caleb Smith defeated Gabriel Townsell, who defeated Greg Diakomihalis. Tim Levine competed at 61 at the Open, where he defeated Sam Latona, but won the Last Chance Qualifier at 57 kg.
