2021-22 New Jersey High School Rankings
106 pounds
It’s been a busy couple of weeks at 106 pounds.
# 4 (at 113 pounds) in the USA, Adrian DeJesus is back at the weight class and the Super 32 third-place finisher returns to the top. He got a 3-2 win over O’Keefe at Escape the Rock this weekend.
Ranking the top 5 here wasn’t easy. At #2, we went with the freshman Melamud — who placed fifth at Powerade — just ahead of returning state placers Carmody and Wadle who have both taken losses to unranked losses up a weight.
Wadle is new here after beginning at 113 pounds and the state finalist from a year ago checks in at #5 .
At this point, this weight class looks to be anybody’s to win.
