220 pounds

220 opened wide up when returning state champion and nationally-ranked Jack Darrah followed coach Cornell Robinson to Wyoming Seminary. John Gholson, who finished third last year in Class 4 and has multiple wins over double Fargo 16U All-American #3 Samuel Murphy and gets the nod at 220. Coming in at #2 is Tommy Hagan of Lafayette (Wildwood). Hagan is a two-time placer who wrestled everywhere from 182 to 220 last year and beat the many state champions and placers at those weights. He lost the state title to Wentric Williams, who is ranked #1 at 195.
