2021-22 NCAA DI Rankings

Jacob Cardenas the Menace

Jacob Cardenas started Cornell's dual against Stanford, so we've got him in the rankings instead of Darmstadt for now. Cadenas has been rather beastly of late, defeating Nick Stemmet this week and Jacob Koser at the Jon Kaloust Bearcat Open last week. A loss to Lou Deprez and the lack of a more extensive resume keeps him from being ranked any higher at the moment, but Cardenas has a lot of potential and plenty of time to climb higher.

Elsewhere, Cam Caffey took his third loss of the short season. They were all to ranked opponents, but that will force him further down the rankings to #22. The Spartan is still an All-American contender, however, so don't count him out, especially not this early in the season.
