2020-21 NCAA Division III Rankings

NCAA DIII 149-Pound Rankings

Ryan Anderson and Brett Kaliner had a tight battle late in the season last year. Anderson won a close bout 3-2 thanks to a takedown and riding time. Anderson and Kaliner are the top two but Stanley Bleich is also solid. The top three at this weight are tough and you can’t count out Evan Fidelibus who was a pinning machine a year ago in his first season with New England College. All four of these individuals will be in the mix in 2021. The depth overall at 149 is impressive, similar to 174 and 184. A lot of individuals are back from the 2020 NCAA Championships field and some individuals who have shown national success in the past. For example, 2019 All-American Luke Hernandez sits at #11 and the Central Regional is loaded with talent. Whoever makes it out of that region is going to be a tough out at the NCAA Championships.
