2020-21 Missouri High School Rankings

2020-21 Missouri High School Rankings: 182

COVID-19 has made it difficult to gauge the growth of the wrestlers, and the weights will more than likely change. Even if someone has wrestled in the summer, he will most likely be at a different weight in the future. Also, Missouri doesn’t release team classifications until the beginning of the season, so classes for teams and wrestlers could change. One big change is Class 1 powerhouse Whitfield will probably be moving up to Class 3 after winning the last four Class 1 titles and six of the last eight. All rankings are based on weights from last year.

By far the most decorated upperweight in Missouri is Jack Darrah of Christian Brothers. Currently ranked #76 on the 2022 Big Board, he is a former 16U Fargo Greco finalist, 16U Greco World team member, Fargo Freestyle AA, and 16U Folkstyle finalist. He took second last year to Oklahoma recruit Greyden Penner and looks to get his first state title this coming year.

Jeremiah Larson, who beat Junior Greco AA Jackson White in the state finals to avenge three of his four losses, comes next. He is followed by two-time Preseason Nationals AA and class 1 champ Chase Brock of Whitfield. As mentioned, Whitfield is more than likely moving up to Class 3 and that could be a finals match this coming year.
