2020-21 New Jersey High School Rankings

2020-21 New Jersey High School Rankings: 182

New Jersey fans knew what they had in Soldano, but he put the nation on alert this weekend in Myrtle Beach where he took home the Super 32 title at 182lbs. The state’s first champ since Jacob Cardenas won in 2018, Soldano was a thrill to watch all weekend long. He is athletic, explosive, and not afraid to put points on the board.

The Rutgers commit looks to be in a class of his own right now. As I mentioned in my preview, I have a feeling he is about to embark on a lengthy in-state winning streak. There are only two returning placers behind him in Kelly and Whitworth, while Fricchione was a bloodround finisher a year ago.

There’s a possibility this weight class could look a lot like it did in 2019-20 when John Poznanski dominated from beginning to end.
