2020-21 New Jersey High School Rankings: 138

Despite only two returning 2020 placers, there is a lot of talent at this weight.

The top two is clear. Eddie Hummel is #1 due to a gritty third-place finish at states, winning seven straight backside matches after a round-one loss. Cetta, meanwhile, had 2020 wins over three-time champ Anthony Clark, finalist Will Grater, and Billy Talmadge. 

Region 8 champion Hunter Gandy handed Hummel one of his two losses of 2020 before losing the rematch in the bloodround of states.

Down at #5 is 2019 state placer from Cherokee, Cooper Pontelandolfo. He’ll be looking to get back on the podium in his final season after coming up short last year.
