2020-21 Michigan High School Rankings: 160

Buell edges Barr for No. 1, but both are among the best in the nation at this weight and could square off at the Grappler Fall Classic (Oct. 3-4). Buell, No. 74 on the Class of 2021 Big Board and No. 7 in the current 160-pound national rankings, recently committed to Purdue. He captured his third Division 3 state championship last season, finishing 45-3. Buell pinned two-time Iowa state champion Hayden Taylor in 54 seconds and decisioned two-time Minnesota state champion Chase Deblaere at the recent Midwest Ironman Duals. 

Barr, No. 6 on the Class of 2023 Big Board, won the Division 1 state championship and finished undefeated (39-0) as a freshman. He is No. 17 in the current national rankings.
