Rankings at 74kg held with zero upsets at the world championships. Kyle Dake holds his spot at #2 in the rankings after winning worlds and defeating Tajmuraz Salkazanov in the finals for the second straight year. After that, Salkazanov got his third straight win over Frank Chamizo with a 3-0 win in the semis. Chamizo responded with bronze with a 5-3 win over Soner Demirtas in the medal match. On the other side of the bracket, Younes Emami won bronze after defeating India’s Sagar Jaglan in the medal match, 6-0.

The only new addition to the rankings at 74kg is 2019 junior world silver Kurban Shiraev. He moves into the rankings after winning the Medved tournament and slots in at #16 behind Khadzhimurad Gadzhiev.
