Israil Kasumov and Anzor Zakuev are the big movers in this set of the rankings after their performance at Russian Nationals. Kasumov won gold over Zakuev and defeated #3 Viktor Rassadin on his way to the finals. Despite the loss to Kasumov, Zakuev defeated #8 Kurban Shiraev on his way to the finals. Both Rassadin and Shiraev hold their spots in the rankings after coming back to win bronze on their respective sides of the bracket.

Azerbaijan's Joshgun Azimov was the story of the Matteo Pellicone at 70kg. He won gold highlighted by a win over 2017 world champion Zurabi Iakobishvili.
