The biggest question at 74kg is what to do after Logan Massa defeated Bekzod Abdurakhmonov in the NLWC event. Bekzod has a body of work that keeps him in the rankings, but drops a few spots after the Massa loss. Logan is newer to the senior level and, unlike Bekzod, doesn’t have any other ranked wins. It’s most notable that Logan went 0-1 in January at the Matteo Pellicone, losing to Murad Kuramagomedov (HUN), who is currently sitting just outside the top 20. At the same tournament, current #20 ranked Fazil Eryilmaz took bronze, out-placing Massa and Kuramagomedov. Because of that January result, Massa remains outside the top 20.
