Kyle Dake won his third world title and defeated #11 Azamat Nurikau (BLR), #10 Fazil Eryilmaz, and #4 Tajmuraz Salkazanov along the way to his gold. Salkazanov moves up in the rankings based on his wins at worlds over #7 Bizhoev and #8 Kentchadze. On top of that, Salkazanov has past head-to-head wins over #5 Frank Chamizo and #6 Razambek Zhamalov from the 2021 European Championships in April. 

The wold bronze medalists, #7 Bizhoev and  #10 Eryilmaz cement their place in the top 10 after their performance in Oslo. Bizhoev had notable wins over #8 Kentchadze and #19 Umarpashaev. Despite losing to Kyle Dake, Eryilmaz took out #11 Azamat Nurikau on his way to world bronze.
