2023 International Wrestling Rankings - Men's Freestyle

61 Abasgadzhi Magomedov

Abasgadzhi Magomedov remains in the #1 spot at 61kg after winning his first world title in Oslo. Magomedov had wins over #4 Hasegawa and #17 Tumenbileg before he took out Daton Fix in the finals. While Fix fell short of a world title, his silver medal performance cements him in the #2 spot after he teched both #3 Harutyunyan and #5 Dahiya. The two world bronze medalists, Harutyunyan and Hasegawa, come in right behind Fix based on their worlds performances. Harutyunyan took out #5 Dahiya and #9 Askarov while Hasegawa defeated #17 Tumenbileg and #18 Amouzad.

A new face to the rankings at 61kg is Russia’s Artur Chebodaev. He won Russia’s U23 World Team trials and will compete at the U23 World Championships in November.
