Thomas Gilman holds his position at #3 after winning the world championships. Gilman is unable to move higher in the rankings due to the absence of Olympic Gold and Silver medalists - Zaur Uguev and Ravi Kumar at worlds.

The other world medalists - Alireza Sarlak (IRI), Aryan Tsiutrin (BLR), and Horst Lehr (GER) - all vaulted into the top 10 after their performance in Oslo. Sarlak won silver and had significant wins over #9 Suleyman Atli (TUR) and #7 Tsiutrin. Lehr won bronze by defeating #10 Abubakar Mutaliev (RUS) and Afghan Khashalov (AZE). Tsiutrin earned his bronze with a win over past world medalists Atli and Bekhbayar Erdenebat (MGL).

The final movement at 57kg resulted from Russia’s U23 World Team Trials. There, Ramazan Abdurakhmonov won gold and will represent Russia at 57kg at U23 Worlds in Serbia.
