#3 Javad Ebrahimi won the Ali Aliev and defeated #4 Zbigniew Baranowski in the finals, 6-3. Ebrahimi won the 2018 and 2020 Asian Championships and took silver at the 2017 Yarygin losing only to Dauren Kurugliev. Ebrahimi also has past wins over many top wrestlers at 92kg and other weights including Alireza Karimi, Sharif Sharifov, Zushen Lin, Magomed Kurbanov, and Hajy Rajabau. 

At the Yasar Dogu, #9 Selim Yasar won gold over #10 Erhan Yaylaci in a 7-3 match. Yaylaci defeated #13 Samett Ozarslan and #14 Irakli Mtsituri on his way to the finals before losing to Yasar. Also resulting from the Dogu, silver medalists Arashk Mohebbi slides into the rankings at #12. Though he lost to Ebrahimi, Mohebbi has past win over #15 Sam Scherrer.
