David Taylor continues to show his dominance on the international scene after winning gold at the Pan-Am Championships. Taylor won 3 matches all by 10-0 tech fall and hasn’t lost against international competition since November of 2016. 

The only other notable result at 86kg came from The Yarygin. There, Magomedsharif Biiakaev defeated 2017 world bronze medalist Vladislav Valiev 1-1 in the semi-finals. Biiakaev would go on to win gold over Zelimkhan Minkailov and Valiev wrestled back for Bronze.
