125kg saw only one new face enter the rankings since the end of March. Yusup Batirmurzaev (KAZ) found his way to the last spot in the top 20 after winning the Asian Olympic Qualifier over Lkhagvagerel Munkhtur (MGL). 

While everyone is projecting Gable Steveson to perform well at the Olympics, he remains relatively low because of his lack of senior level competition. Steveson looks to be on another level after his dominance at the Olympic Trials. All eyes will be on how high Gable can climb both in the rankings over the coming months and ultimately the Olympic podium this August.
