Movement at 65kg results from the USA Olympic Trials and the Asian Olympic Qualifier. Jordan Oliver knocked off Joey McKenna and formerly ranked Yianni Daikomihalis to earn the final spot in the rankings. Retherford and Yianni fall out of the rankings after losing in the semis at the trials. Meanwhile, Ernazar Akmataliev put the rest of the Olympic field on notice after pinning Ilyas Bekbulatov in the semis to qualify for the Olympics. The only reason Bekbulatov was not ranked before this weekend was his exclusive competition at 70kg. Bekbulatov is deserving of his high ranking due to his past wins and extensive resume.
