Thomas Gilman and Mingu Liu enter the rankings at 57kg after qualifying for the Olympic Games. Gilman has been in and out of the lower half of the rankings over the past year, and although he didn’t defeat any ranked wrestlers at the trials, his past resume is enough to earn his spot. This is Liu’s first time entering the rankings at 57kg and earned his way in by defeating formerly ranked Tumenbileg (MGL) before he fell in the finals to Abdullaev. 

Of note, Kumsong Kang (PRK) and Bekhbayar Erdenebat (MGL) were dropped from the rankings due to inactivity.
