2019-20 New Jersey High School Rankings

New Jersey High School Rankings: 113

By Brendan Scannell

This weight looks to be both deep and wide-open. Klinsky is likely the favorite as a returning state finalist, but he’s accompanied by four other state placers. Dunnigan had a good Fargo this summer and is ranked #18 in the country. Manno beat him twice last year. Cangro took out Manno and Dunnigan en route to a third-place finish in the state. And let’s not forget about Jack Maida, who lost to Manno in last year’s fifth-place match. All of these guys are contenders and all are familiar with each other, but there may be more looking to join the fray…

Cooper Stewart slots in at #6 here since he pinned Phillips at last year’s state tournament.

With the addition of Stewart, freshman Joe Davi of Delbarton drops out of the preseason rankings, but he will have plenty of chances early in the season to prove he deserves a spot in the top eight.
