Of note here is John Meyers steps in at the #5 spot after bumping up from 195. It will also be interesting to see what Salem does with Meyers and Trent Patrick, who missed states last year by one match at this weight. Absent from this weight from the previous rankings are Hunter Catka (Sun Valley) and Weinzel (now at 182). Schon and Crosby are the top dogs here and you can bet they’ll see each other a time or two prior to Hershey. 

I hope you enjoy reading and critiquing the 2019-20 first official rankings for PA. This is the post-preseason, pre-regular season rankings. With results compiled from most of the offseason and preseason tournaments, we were able to have a more accurate and up to date ranking to reflect the upcoming season. With just under a month until the opening weekend of competition, excitement is mounting across the state.
