2019-20 Pennsylvania High School Rankings - AAA

PIAA: AAA 132-Pounds

Talk about stacked . . . the top three in this weight are nationally ranked. Herrmann comes in the favorite after a finals appearance at Super 32, with Patick Noonan not far behind after a great summer in which he placed everywhere. Alejandro Herrera comes in at #3 after jumping up a few weights from 113 where he won states last season. If somehow Wyatt Henson (who recently transferred back to Waynesburg Central) wins his appeal with PIAA and is indeed eligible for the postseason, this weight would have some fireworks that I would like to see on Saturday at the Giant Center. A newcomer to the weight, Dagen Condomitti from Northampton, will look to follow in his brother’s footsteps after placing a junior high states a couple times. Overall, this weight has great depth to follow the top dogs.

I hope you enjoy reading and critiquing the 2019-20 first official rankings for PA. This is the post-preseason, pre-regular season rankings. With results compiled from most of the offseason and preseason tournaments, we were able to have a more accurate and up to date ranking to reflect the upcoming season. With just under a month until the opening weekend of competition, excitement is mounting across the state. Once again, enjoy and please let me know if there are any questions/comments and I’ll be happy to interact with feedback/changes.
