Mount Pleasant sophomore Dayton Pitzer returns to this weight to defend his PIAA title a year ago. Coming in at number two is Hamburg’s returning regional champion Nick James, and Southern Columbia’s Tyler Waltman. Carlynton junior Collin Milko has moved up from 170 pounds a season ago, and looks to make some noise after an active offseason. Another weight class where I see six medals up for grabs.

I hope you enjoy reading and critiquing the 2019-20 first official rankings for PA. This is the post-preseason, pre-regular season rankings. With results compiled from most of the offseason and preseason tournaments, we were able to have a more accurate and up to date ranking to reflect the upcoming season. With just under a month until the opening weekend of competition, excitement is mounting across the state.
