Notre Dame Green Pond sophomore Ryan Crookham tops the list, returning from his state championship at 120 pounds last year. Nate Smith of Bishop McDevitt looks to avenge his regional final loss to Crookham and claim the top spot on the podium come March. Muncy senior Jacob Blair competed at the Surge and looked like he hasn’t missed a beat having competed scholastically since the 2017-18 season. Blair took out Allentown CC’s David Kreidler and Tunkhannock’s David Evans en route to a third-place finish.

I hope you enjoy reading and critiquing the 2019-20 first official rankings for PA. This is the post-preseason, pre-regular season rankings. With results compiled from most of the offseason and preseason tournaments, we were able to have a more accurate and up to date ranking to reflect the upcoming season. With just under a month until the opening weekend of competition, excitement is mounting across the state. Once again, enjoy and please let me know if there are any questions/comments and I’ll be happy to interact with feedback/changes.
