To say that Andrew Cerniglia, on his way to wrestle for Navy, ran through the gauntlet at States in his first year in AA would be an understatement. He had wins over Dowling, Garcia, and avenged a Regional Final loss to Gabe Miller (graduated) while not surrendering a point over the course of his matches. That being said, he is by far the favorite returning here. Dowling, a WVU commit, goes second, Garcia third and Pugh, an Appalachian State commit, round out the returning placers. After the top eight, which are all returning qualifiers, it is wide-open and could be argued one way or the other.
