2019-20 Pennsylvania High School Rankings - AA

PIAA: AA 126-Pounds

There was a heavy senior presence at this weight last year, leaving only seven returning state qualifiers out of the 20 which makes this weight class wide open. If this weight were to stay the same (which it won’t) McMillon, a Pitt signee, is the heavy favorite. After that, it’s a battle for who would be on the line across from him at the state tourney. Four other placers return, but you could make that five with Elijah Bundro (state fourth in 2017) in the mix. He has a ton of talent, shown by his win over Chletsos in the regional finals, if he could just stay on the mat. His only “true” loss of the season last year was to Crookham, so he would be a safe bet to place this year, given the opportunity. The rest of the weight is up in the air given credentials and I would say it’s safe to say this weight class will see a lot of shifting during the season.
