This was a fun weight to watch at the state tournament last year. It didn’t shake up the way most predicted going into the tournament, but that’s what the postseason is all about. All eight placers return here with Jackson Arrington leading the way after avenging his 7-3 Trojan War loss to Biscoe in the finals. Michaels also bested Arrington in the Regional finals (6-1) so he’s right up there with the title contenders. I can see a few of the top guys returning here at some point in the season with Arrington, Michaels, Strickland, and Holderbaum all at 120 for Super 32, but that will remain to be seen. This will also be a class with heavy first-year varsity guys mixing in during the season.
