2019-20 NCAA DI Rankings

184 Zahid-in Figures

Quite the weekend for 184-pounds. Ben Darmstadt's first collegiate tournament at 184-pounds resulted in a loss to Lou DePrez. DePrez is very good at wrestling, so he moves up to #2, and Darmy drops just one spot.

Nino Bonaccorsi lost to Andrew Morgan. Nino is also very good at wrestling, but so is Andrew, obviously. Bonaccorsi falls out of the top 10 and Morgan shoots up to #10.

Chris Weiler rebounded from a rough week 1 by beating Corey Hazel and Tanner Orndorff in week 2. This illustrates the depth of 184, as Hazel a win over DePrez from last season, and Weiler only climbs to #25, as Dylan Wisman has a win over NCAA finalist Max Dean, also from last year. So it's either depth or the NCAA D1 wrestlers at 184 hate rankers and this is all a conspiracy. I think it's the former but I'm leaving the possibility of the latter open.

Elsewhere, Matthew Waddell of Chattanooga earns his first ranking thanks to wins over Zac Braunagel this week and the aforementioned Dylan Wisman last week.
