2019-20 Prospect Rankings - NCAA

165

Keegan O'Toole leads our pack of projected college 165lbers. Since a 5th place finish in Akron last year, O'Toole has skyrocketed winning Fargo, and Super 32 and making the finals of the JR World Team Trials. He's a very fluid wrestler and I'd venture to say the high schooler most likely to produce bonus at the next level.

Travis Mastrogiovanni checks in next just ahead of Paddy Gallagher. I think they are very close in terms of potential. I give the edge to Mastro right now as he's a year younger.

Rounding out the Top 5 are two guys that have had exceptional springs. From the same system as O'Toole, Mesenbrink took 3rd at FloNationals this year and has emerged as one of the best of the Sophomore class.

Kovacs won FloNationals and reached the finals of NHSCA's.

I expect this weight to have some significant movement as time goes on. There is certainly a lot of talent and potential but they're young. Consistency will be key. Johnson, Norwood, and Weaver have all shown glimpses.
