For the inaugural Russian P4P rankings, the top eight consists of returning world reps and world medalists/champs with Abdulrashid Sadulaev and Zaurbek Sidakov being the consensus number one and two pound for pound wrestlers domestically and internationally. Of the top ten, the two members who were not world team reps in #9 Ilyas Bekbulatov and #10 Vladislav Baitsaev, their resumes at their respective weights allow for their rightful entry in the weight. Bekbulatov, a four-time Yarygin champion and two-time European finalist is a 2015 Russian nationals champion with past wins over #3 Akhmed Chakaev and #15 Naachin Kuular. Baitsaev, a 2018 European champion has past wins over past world champs and medalists in Khadzhimurad Gatsalov (RUS), Khetag Gozyumov (AZE), Georgi Gogschelidze (GEO), Sharif Sharifov (AZE), Elizbar Odikadze (GEO), Abraham Conyedo Ruano (ITA), Zhiwei Deng (CHN), Anzor Boltukaev (RUS) and Ivan Yankouski (BLR), Baitsaev is more than deserving.

Three-time Russian nationals champ Alexander Bogomoev (RUS) takes the #11 spot as the #1 ranked 61 KG wrestler domestically and internationally with the departure of two-time world runner-up #4 Gadzhimurad Rashidov up to 65 KG. Bogomoev has past wins over #3 Akhmed Chakaev, #4 Gadzhimurad Rashidov, #16 Naachin Kuular, #20 Zelimkhan Abakarov, and #22 Magomedrasul Idrisov. Returning Russian nationals bronze medalist and Ali Aliev runner-up #1(92) Alikhan Zhabrailov takes the #17 spot after beating #21 Batyrbek Tsakulov, #22 Magomed Kurbanov, and 2018 Russian Nationals runner-up Anzor Urishev. 

2017 74 KG world silver medalist Khetik Tsabolov (RUS) debuts in 19 even with having wins over #2 Sidakov, #6 Gazimagomedov, and #7 Gadzhimagomedov and the reason is that he lost to #15 Timur Bizhoev for the European championships wrestle-offs and lost to #25 Akhmed Usmanov at the Alans. Timur Bizhoev (RUS) is in at #15 off wins over #7 Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov, #19 Khetik Tsabolov, and #25 Akhmed Usmanov. Darsam Dzhaparov enters the rankings at #24 after winning the Ali Aliev over #25 Akhmed Usmanov.
