#1 Abdulrashid Sadulaev has been sublime and is coming off his 4th World/Olympic title and 5th European title, he’s a lock for one. Two-time Russian National runner-up Vladislav Baitsaev takes the #2 spot and is coming off a title up at 125 KG at the Ali Aliev. Shamil Musaev was a runner-up at the Alans to Baitsaev and won the Yarygin this year and has wins over #5 Kurbanov and #6 Ovsyannikov. Two-time Yarygin runner-up Rasul Magomedov takes the 4th spot off the strength of international wins over 3x World/Olympic champ #2 (INT) Kyle Snyder (USA) and #4 Nurmagomed Gadzhiev (AZE). Zaynulla Kurbanov is at #5 after taking bronze at 2018 Russian Nationals and bronze at the Alans where he beat world bronze medalist #11 Elizbar Odikadze (GEO). #6 Igor Ovsyannikov has bronze medal finishes at Russian Nationals, U-23 world’s, the Alans, and the Yarygin and wins over #4 Magomedov, #7 Shogenov, and #8 Rasuev. Shogenov is in at #7 for beating #3 Musaev at Russian Nationals last year, and Rasuev takes the #8 spot after taking bronze at the Semenov where he beat Roman Bakirov (AZE).
