World champ Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov cemented his top spots with wins over #3 Razambek Zhamalov and #5 David Baev at the Yarygin to win gold there. While he has dropped matches at Euros to #6(INT) Agaguseynov Mustafaev (AZE) and up at 74 KG at the Ali Aliev to Gadzhimurad Alimkhaev (RUS), his 70 KG resume is uncontested and he keeps the top spot. 4x Yarygin champ Ilyas Bekbulatov (RUS) moved up to 70 KG and won the Dan Kolov over #6 Anzor Zakuev (RUS) to earn the #2 spot. #3 Razambek Zhamalov has been on fire this year, having won the Ali Aliev and U-23 European championships while taking bronze at the Yarygin all while notching wins over #4 Valiev, #5 Baev, and #6 Zakuev along with past european medalist #15 (INT) Murtuz Muslimov (AZE). Cherman Valiev takes the #4 spot after beating #5 David Baev and #8 Alan Gogaev at the Ali Aliev. Anzor Zakuev is in at #6 after a runner-up finish at the Dan Kolov that saw him beat 2x world medalist #12 (INT) James Green (USA) and 2018 Yarygin bronze medalist #13 (INT) Andrey Kviatkovski (UKR) and added a bronze medal at the Ali Aliev where he beat #7 Ruslan Bogatyrev. 

Ruslan Bogatyrev takes the #7 spot after a 5th place finish at the Alans where he beat Murad Kuramagomedov and #6 Anzor Zakuev. #9 Ivan Efremov is ranked for winning the 2018 Kunaev over this year’s asian champ Nurkhoza Kaipanov (KAZ) and Saipula Alibulatov rounds out the top ten off his medal at the 2017 Intercontinental cup where he beat #6 Anzor Zakuev for bronze in a wild 11-10 match.
