NCAA Rankings 2018-19
285 Gable Steveson
Heavyweight continues to be anything but stable this season. David Jensen's loss to Chase Singletary moves Singletary up to #22 and Jensen down to #12. Mason Parris' victory over All-American Youssif Hemida moves the former back into the top 10 and the latter down to #10.
Cory Daniel lost to Jeramy Sweaney but doesn't drop has he beat the two wrestlers ranked directly below him, Demetrius Thomas and Billy Miller, and the two weeks immediately preceding this last weekend. Sweany's victory, however, pulls both him and Thomas Haines into the top 20, thanks to Haines' victory over Sweany three weeks ago.
Unfortunately for Zach Elam of Missouri and Joseph Goodhart of Drexel, Sweany and Haines' inclusion leave no room for them in the rankings, and they are pushed out into the bubble.
