NCAA Rankings 2018-19

157 Jason Nolf

We have yet to see a number one lose, but #2 Hayden Hidlay lost, and only for the second time in his varsity career. Hidlay falls to #3 and CKLV champ Ryan Deakin takes his place after wins over Kennedy Monday, Griffin Parriott, Hunter Willits and John Van Brill, all ranked opponents.

Tyler Berger lost to the surging Parriott, but has wins over Ke-Shawn Hayes and Kennedy Monday and his previous body of work, which includes two All-American honors, keeps him in the top five. The aforementioned Parriott jumps up 10 spots, from #18 to #8, thanks to wins over Berger and Taleb Rahmani.

Hayes beat Rahmani, but fell to Eric Barone of Illinois. Barone, who has a loss to Jaren Glosser but also beat Hunter Willits, enters the rankings at #13. Rahmani also beat Monday, who falls bellow Rahmani.

Four competitors exit the top 20. Dominick Mandarino wrestled at the CKLV for Stanford and also beat his teammate Paul Fox earlier the year, so we're going with him for the foreseeable future. Lehigh's Josh Humphreys had his redshirt pulled this weekend and so we are likewise assuming he is the start for the Mountain Hawks instead of Gordon Wolf. Army's Luke Weiland and Justin Thomas of Oklahoma tumble out of the top 20 after losses to unranked opponents.
