2018-19 High School Wrestling Rankings

132

Van Ness did it again. After winning the deepest bracket at Super 32, he takes out #1-Jordan Decatur and wins Ironman. The whole darn thing was pretty much chaos at this weight with #3-Bartlett kinda getting hosed early and #2-Dylan D'Emilio losing on a last second takedown to Frankie Tal-Shahar.

Decatur beat D'Emilio for 3rd. In a rematch of the S32 finals, Bartlett blew a 4-1 lead on D'Emilio with :09 to go. One of number of amazing bouts in this bracket. Go watch Decatur-Van Ness, Tal-Shahar-D'Emilio, D'Emilio-Bartlett. Great stuff.

From top to bottom there is massive parity illustrated by the numerous conflicting results. Some who had 'bad' Super 32's like Tal-Shahar and Burnett showed up huge at Ironman and vice versa. This weight is really week-to-week.
