NCAA Rankings 2017-18
285: Kyle Or Kal-El?
Kyle Snyder (Google: "Kal-El"), had to wait a few weeks to get another crack at Adam Coon after Coon handed Snyder his first loss in years in a late-season dual meet. Snyder won this round in sudden victory. Round 3 will likely take place in the NCAA finals, as these two have all but locked up the #1 and #2 seeds.
Other conference champs that moved up in the rankings include Jordan Wood, who beat Mike Hughes at the EIWAS; and Billy Miller, who toppled Thomas Haines at the EWLs. At the ACCs, Cory Daniel beat Michael Boykin in the semifinals to move into the top 20.
Garrett Ryan's loss to unranked Jeramy Sweany caused him to drop, whereas Conan Jennings victory over Youssif Hemida prompted him to soar to #13.
