Peter Renda renders himself an ACC title and leapfrogs his vanquished finals opponent, Zach Zavatsky. Taylor Venz likewise jumps ahead of Emery Parker after a victory in the Big Ten consolation semifinals. At the same tournament, Nick Gravina drops a spot after falling to Mitch Bowman, who rises from #20 to #15 after the upset.
Michael Coleman scored an upset in the EIWA quarterfinals over Steven Schneider and moves ahead in the rankings.
Elsewhere at the MAC Championships, Canten Marriott and Jordan Ellingwood both suffer upsets and drops a couple few notches as a result.
