149: Loaded Like A Freight Zain
Zain Retherford continues his historical dominance of the weight class with another Big Ten title. Boo Lewallen beat rival Max Thomsen in the Big 12 finals to rise in the rankings, whereas Justin Oliver had a disastrous MAC tournament, losing to two unranked foes.
Eleazer DeLuca also had a rough conference tournament, falling from #11 to #18 after placing eighth at the Big Tens. Baby J Bannister fared better, beating DeLuca and showing up at #17. Beau Donahue struggled at the ACCs, dropping a spot after dropping two matches. Finally, Jared Prince placed third at the EIWAs, beating #17 Michael Sprague and #20 Cortlandt Schuyler to earn the new #20 spot.
