197: Shak To The System

Folks, we do not come up with the plan — we only report on it. And since it was Shakur Rasheed who started for Penn State and notched a top 10 victory, it is Shakur "Sugar Shak" Rasheed who we will rank. Rasheed slots in behind Preston Weigel, who has a better best win and a better worse loss than Rasheed. The Nittany Lions' other 197-pound title contender, Anthony Cassar, had a better win than Weigel in his victory over Kollin Moore. As such, Cassar was ranked ahead of Weigel when we had Cassar in the rankings.

Penn State coach Cael Sanderson has one more dual meet before the conference tournament, and we will continue to rank the competitor who gets the start. It may give us all whiplash but it is rather exciting to follow!

Elsewhere, Corey Griego beat Matt Williams in a Pac-12 dual to leapfrog him in the rankings.
