184: Chip Ness Triumphs Over Nick Gravina

Nick Gravina lost to Chip Ness in a dual and falls all the way to #18 as he struggles to find his groove this season. Meanwhile, Ness pops back up in the rankings after a a brief interregnum.

Ness' emergence back into the rankings causes Missouri redshirt freshman Canten Marriott to appear one spot above. Marriott beat Ness in a dual meet in December and otherwise has only taken losses to opponents ranked 12th or higher.

Mitch Bowman enters the rankings due to his win over Keegan Moore. That all may change if Pat Downey makes it into Iowa's lineup at 184.

The lower quarter of the top 20 continues to be a revolving cast of characters, as Joe Heyob, Owen Webster, and Moore drop out after losses and make room for Marriott, Ness, and Bowman. The 184-pound bubble continues to be a crowded place, as many contenders all have legitimate claims to being ranked.
