2019 International Rankings - Men's Freestyle

65 KG Bajrang Punia (IND)

Rashidov winning a stacked 65kg at Russian Nationals allowed him to take #5 spot in an insanely stacked international weight class. Khinchegashvili lost to Aliev in the Euro Games finals but his win over Chakaev in the semis, and incredible historical body of work, earned him a jump up to #6.

Bekbulatov may be the most talented wrestler yet to wrestle in a world championship or Olympic Games, yet the 2019 Kolov winner was felled by relatively unknown Julian Gergenov and drops to #5 as a result.

America's Yianni Diakomihalis beat compatriot Zain Retherford and Hungarian by way of Dagestan Ismail Musukaev at the Yasar Dogu, then dispatched Ukraine's Gor Oganesyan at the Ziolkowski, which all helped him move up to #10 in the world.

The aforementioned Gergenov moved up from 61kg to wrestle in RusNats and took home a bronze, good enough for #14 in the international top 20. The aforementioned Oganesyan took third at the Euro Games and second at the Ziolkowski, and enters the rankings at #18.
