#15 Pavel Krivstov (RUS) jumps up seven spots to #8 in the rankings after beating #10 Daniel Ligeti (HUN) in the finals of the Sassari tournament. #11 Zhiwei Deng (CHN) won the President Cup of Buryatia over Khuderbulga Dorkhand (MGL), in his qualification match he beat Ali Aliev bronze medalist #14 Alan Khugaev. 

Two-time World bronze medalist #12 Nick Gwiazdowski (USA) defeated 2017 Junior world champ Gable Steveson (USA) two matches to none to win his spot on his third straight world team and will look to improve upon his bronze medal finish in Budapest. 

Final X runner-up and 2017 Junior world champ Gable Steveson (USA) debuts in the rankings at #20 off the strength of wins over Adam Coon (USA), Tony Nelson (USA), and Dom Bradley (USA).
