#2 Jordan Burroughs (USA) won an absolutely fire three-match series against 2018 Medved bronze medalist Isaiah Martinez (USA) at Final X to earn his spot on his 9th straight World/Olympic team. Because of his win over the 5x World/Olympic champ at Final X, Isaiah Martinez (USA) debuts in the rankings at #16. He can’t debut higher because he has lost to #9 Avtandil Kentchadze (GEO) at the 2017 U-23 world championships by tech and just lost at the Yarygin in January to #15 Azamat Nurikov (BLR). 

#3 Frank Chamizo (ITA) won the Sassari tournament over Daniyar Kaisanov (KAZ). While there he notched a close 5-4 win over #8 Khetik Tsabolov (RUS). 

#19 Arslan Budazhapov (KGZ), a two-time President Cup of Buryatia champ with wins over #6(86) Ali Shabanov (BLR), #2(70) Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov (RUS), and #8 Khetik Tsabolov (RUS) has transferred to Kyrgyzstan.
