#8 Alikhan Zhabrailov (RUS) and #10 Alireza Karimiachiani (IRI) moved up to 92 KG and that’s allows for Ali Aliyev runner-up Javrail Shapiev (UZB) and European bronze medalist Sandro Aminashvili (GEO) to debut in the rankings at #18 and #20 respectively. 

#2 David Taylor (USA) won his first Pan-Am title with a tight 3-2 win over #9 Yurieski Torreblanca (CUB) in the finals. #3 Artur Naifonov (RUS) won his first European title with a win over #8 Alexander Gostiev (AZE) in the finals. Along the way, Naifonov notched wins over #7 Shamil Kudiyamagomedov (ITA) and #16 Zbigniew Baranowski (POL). 

#5 Dauren Kurugliev (RUS) won the Ali Aliyev over Asian championships 5th place finisher Javrail Shapiev (UZB) in the finals. Shapiev made the finals by beating #13 Arsenali Musalaliev (RUS) in the semifinals. For his semifinal win over Musalaliev, he debuts in the rankings #18. 

#15 Richard Perry (USA) lost in the finals of the U.S. World Team Trials 4-0 and 6-3 to Nick Reenan (USA). Reenan doesn’t quite have the body of work to be ranked yet, so Perry drops down two spots in the rankings to #17.
