There will only be three weights contested in men’s freestyle at the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament on May 20 and 21, but those three weights are going to be electric. In addition to 61 kg and 125 kg, 92 kg will be in action. With top talent coming both up and down from 86 and 97 to try and make Final X, you’re not going to want to miss it.

Below is a list of every men's freestyle wrestler that is qualified for the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament on May 20 - 21 and how they qualified. Similar to last year, the 197-pound bracket has no clear favorite and no wrestler’s seed will likely mean much. Returning champion Gabe Dean enters as the nine-seed following a 20-3 season where he lost, 6-3, in the Big Ten finals to Nebraska’s Silas Allred. This weight is a tangled plate of spaghetti that should be the most chaotic bracket of the tournament.

While Ohio State and Cornell aren’t in the same conference, and don’t regularly dual each other, between CKLV and NCAAs, some of their wrestlers have gotten quite familiar with each other. It will be a fun dual that could go either way when the two meet in Tampa, Florida. However, that familiarity could be the difference maker. Below are the four rematches we will see on Saturday afternoon and how they’ve gone in the past.

Major league collegiate wrestling is coming to the Sunshine State thanks to Spartan Combat. The #4 Cornell Big Red are taking on #7 Ohio State in a titanic out-of-conference clash to close out both programs' respective regular seasons this Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm ET.

It's the last big week of the NCAA season, and it should be a great one! On Friday, January 6 #10 Cornell will travel to Blacksburg to take on #5 Virginia Tech at 7:00 pm (ET). This will be one of the top duals of the weekend filled with ranked matchups from top-to-bottom.
