A native of Plano, TX, Jamison won a Fargo junior freestyle national title in 2021. Jamison originally grew up in Oklahoma winning youth titles at tournaments such as the OKUSA national team qualifier, and the OK USA west region in both freestyle and greco. In 2017, Jamison won the Midwestern jr high conference tournament, the junior high all state tournament, and the Oklahoma USA YWL state tournament at 113 pounds. Jamison Opened up his high school career as a runner up at the 5A oklahoma state tournament at 126 pounds.
